While I’ve been cursing the firestorm 2020 has been, and like everyone else I am counting the seconds until January 1, 2021, I paused today to think if there were any lessons to learn. Turns out there is a very important one, perhaps the most important of all, a lesson we could not have learned any other way.

When a pandemic hits,
When businesses shut down,
When schools close,
When the stock market crashes,
When the world burns,

All you have left is home.

Maybe we should re-evaluate our investment strategies.
