This is my third shot at NaNoWriMo. First year I started Nick, wrote 10,000 words, then got busy with life.  I did finish Nick, however, and so I consider that first, concentrated push the true reason that book got written.  Last year’s only got to 4000 words and remains primarily in my mind, but it waits there…

Finally making headway…

Managed to write for 5 hours today, ignoring pressing obligations from real life.  Got in 16oo words, which is 7 pages double spaced.  Hopefully I’ll get this story finished before the end of summer.  It’s set at Christmastime, so I’d like to have it available on Kindle early in the Fall.
