I just read the article about Harrison Ford reprising his role of Han Solo in the Star Wars reboot.  People seem to be upset by this, but trust me, it’s OK.  In the first sequel books by Timothy Zahn, Han and Leia are married and have three children, Jaina and Jacen, who are twins, and Anakin.  I don’t know if JJ Abrams is planning to follow this story line, but in it, Leia is in the government, and Luke has started a new Jedi academy that his neice and nephews are attending.  Remember, evil never dies, and governments never stay cohesive and sane for very long.  There is plenty of story left to tell–if they are true to the characters and the grittiness that made Lucas’ world so real in the first three movies.
